Lidl glass air fryer similar to Ninja launches Sunday

Lidl is set to release a new glass air fryer on Sunday, August 2, offering a budget-friendly alternative to the popular Ninja Crispi 4-in-1 Portable Glass Air Fryer. The Silvercrest Glass Air Fryer, priced from £49.99, undercuts the Ninja version by £100.

Design and features

The appliance features heat-resistant glass containers that can be used for both cooking and storage, eliminating the need to transfer food. It includes four pre-set programmes: air fry, roast, re-fry and keep warm. Lidl claims the gadget can handle both small portions and a whole chicken.

Lidl's SpecialBuy offer

The air fryer is part of Lidl's SpecialBuy range, available from Sunday. It costs £49.99 with Lidl Plus and £59.99 without. The design resembles the Ninja Crispi, which retails at £149.99. This follows Lidl's previous release of a machine nearly identical to the Ninja Creami but £130 cheaper.
