Meghan Markle Could Attend Daytime Emmys Within Days

Meghan Markle could make her next public appearance within days, as she is nominated for a 2026 Daytime Emmy Award for her Netflix series "With Love, Meghan." The show is a contender in the Outstanding Lifestyle Programme category.

The Duchess of Sussex stepped out in Nottingham just last week. She is now living back in Britain with her husband, Prince Harry, and their two children, but may soon return to the US for the award ceremony.

Ceremony Details and Location

The Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony will take place on October 30 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, California. This venue is not far from the Sussex family's Montecito home, which they purchased in 2020 and only moved out of in August. They still own the property.

While it has not been confirmed whether Meghan will attend, she is likely to be present. If her Netflix show wins an award, the Duchess would probably want to receive it in person.

Competition and Show Background

Meghan's lifestyle series will compete against NBC's "George to the Rescue," Hallmark's "The Motherhood," "The Wizard of Paws," and "A Different Breed" for the award. Although the Netflix show has not released any new episodes this year, it did release two seasons and a festive special episode last year.

It is believed that a season three has not been considered due to low viewership figures. The series showed Meghan cooking, hosting, and indulging in other hobbies, and was filmed at a rented property a short drive from the Montecito mansion rather than in the couple's own home.

Celebrity Guests and Filming Choice

A number of Meghan's celebrity friends appeared on the show, including actresses Mindy Kaling and Abigail Spencer. Prince Harry also made occasional brief cameos. The series was filmed in Montecito.

Meghan explained the decision to film elsewhere, telling People magazine she didn't want filming to disrupt her family and their routines. She said: "I wanted to protect that safe haven. We're a close-knit family, and I love those moments— putting Lili down for a nap, having lunch together, having sacred time together at the end of the day. Our kitchen is where mama just cooks for the family, and with a crew of 80-plus people, that's a lot of people to have in your house!"

Meghan has not confirmed whether she will attend the award ceremony in LA next week.
