Karen Millen is returning to Liverpool ONE after a seven-year absence, with a new concession opening on Monday, August 17, 2026. The British women's fashion brand, known for signature tailoring, structured dresses, coats and luxury occasion wear, will be housed within the TFG London store at 5 South John Street.
Brand responds to customer demand
The return follows customer demand and is part of a wider rollout of Karen Millen concessions across the UK. The first opening takes place on Friday, August 14, 2026, at Fosse Park in Leicester, followed by Aberdeen Union Square and Liverpool ONE on August 17. Sizes 6 to 18 will be available in all participating stores.
Karen Millen was founded in 1981 by British designer Karen Millen and now operates primarily online as part of the Debenhams Group. The Liverpool ONE concession will stock a curated collection focusing on occasion wear and bestselling pieces, with particular emphasis on the Forever Collection, which draws on 45 years of craftsmanship and celebrates “timeless garments that have become enduring bestsellers and signature pieces”.
Heritage brand returns to high street
Dan Finley, CEO of Debenhams Group, said: “Karen Millen is a brand with real heritage, recognition and a loyal customer base, so bringing it back to the high street is a significant moment.” He added: “Our customers want great fashion, but they also want to experience brands in different ways, and physical retail gives us another opportunity to do that.”
The previous Karen Millen store in Liverpool ONE closed permanently in August 2019, after Boohoo bought the brand's online operations out of administration, which did not include physical shops. More concessions are due to open across the UK following the initial launches.
