Mac Miller Tribute Concert Set for Halloween with Star-Studded Lineup

A benefit concert for the late rapper Mac Miller, who died in September at age 26, has been announced for October 31, 2018, at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. The event, titled 'Mac Miller: A Celebration of Life', will feature performances by John Mayer, Travis Scott, Ty Dolla $ign, and many others.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, October 5, at 1pm ET / 10am PT via Ticketmaster, with prices ranging from $39.50 to $500. Proceeds will benefit the Mac Miller Circles Fund, which supports arts and community programmes for underserved youth.

Mac Miller's mother, Karen Meyers, expressed gratitude on Instagram, thanking artists and friends for helping organise the event. In a statement, she said: 'The support we've experienced is evident in this amazing lineup and is a testament to Malcolm's incredible life.'

The rapper, whose real name was Malcolm McCormick, died at his home in Los Angeles on September 7 from a suspected drug overdose. His ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande paid tribute on Instagram, calling him 'the kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved'.
