The device, designed for mattresses, sofas, cushions and pet beds, has drawn hundreds of online reviews, with buyers reporting they were 'disgusted' by the dirt it collected.
Four cleaning functions in one device
The compact Hoover combines a motorised roller, strong suction, UV-C light and 50°C hot air to tackle dust, allergens and moisture on soft furnishings. Its Beat and Roll technology rotates the roller 4,200 times per minute to lift debris without damaging delicate fabrics. The UV-C light is designed to reduce bacteria, allergens and dust mites, while the hot-air function helps dry the mattress and reduce moisture build-up.
Weighing 2.22kg and fitted with a five-metre power cable, the vacuum can be used across a large mattress without constantly switching sockets. One Amazon buyer called it an 'amazing little machine', adding: "This is a brilliant little mattress hover. I was surprised, delighted and disgusted all at the same time!! To know what I was sleeping on gives me the chills. I pride myself on cleanliness and used to use just my hover to do my mattress so I assumed it was clean!! The amount of dust and whatever else that little machine picked up was astonishing."
