Home Bargains has reintroduced its popular Christmas candles, priced at just £3 each, to the delight of shoppers. The festive range, available in stores only, features four drink-themed scents: Holly Jolly Juice, Frosted Berry Fizz, Cinnamon Spice Spritzer, and Candy Cane Cocktail.
The candles, which come in sparkly can-shaped containers, have been praised for their appearance and fragrance. One shopper commented on Facebook: 'I want all the colours! They're so shiny and pretty!' Another added: 'The candy cane one is really nice-smelling and they last really well too.'
However, some customers were initially confused, mistaking the candles for actual drinks. One admitted: 'I thought it was a drink!' Another replied: 'Same! I thought they were festive cocktails or something until I read the label!'
The candles are priced at £2.99 each and are not available online. Home Bargains also reminded customers that a 15p charge applies for reusable carrier bags at checkout, which the company says is one of the cheapest in the UK.
