Coffee Mate Launches Harry Potter Butterbeer Creamers for UK Fans
Harry Potter Butterbeer Creamers Launching in UK

Coffee Mate is conjuring up some magic for British coffee lovers, announcing the launch of a highly-anticipated Harry Potter-themed Butterbeer creamer range. The brand confirmed the new products will arrive on shelves nationwide in January, bringing a taste of the wizarding world to morning routines.

The Spellbinding New Range

In a move that's set to delight fans, the company revealed it will release three distinct Butterbeer-flavoured products. The collection includes a standard Butterbeer Creamer, a Zero Sugar Butterbeer Creamer, and a Butterbeer Cold Foam. This magical launch is the result of a partnership between Coffee Mate and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products.

The announcement came via an Instagram post where the brand told its followers, "You asked for it and we heard you... NEW Harry Potter-inspired Butterbeer flavour creamers are coming soon!". This release comes after fans passionately requested the flavour following the summer launch of two other Harry Potter creamers.

Pricing and Nationwide Rollout

While an exact release date remains under wraps, the products are expected to begin appearing in retailers from December, before the full nationwide rollout in January. When they do arrive, shoppers can expect to pay $4.49 for a 28-ounce bottle of the creamer and $5.49 for a 14-ounce canister of the Cold Foam.

The news was met with immediate excitement in the comments of the social media post. One enthusiast wrote, "We spoke, you heard, you created…and now we will drink our coffee with great joy," while another simply stated, "I’m so excited for this!!!". The inclusion of a zero-sugar option was also particularly praised by health-conscious fans.

A Taste of the Wizarding World

For the uninitiated, Butterbeer is the iconic drink from the Harry Potter series, served at establishments like the Leaky Cauldron. It's typically described as having a delicious flavour profile combining sweet butterscotch and shortbread, and can be enjoyed either hot or cold, often topped with a creamy foam.

This isn't Coffee Mate's first foray into the wizarding world. Back in August, the brand launched two other limited-edition Harry Potter creamers: a Toffee Cauldron Cake Flavoured Creamer and a Zero Sugar White Chocolate Peppermint Toad Flavoured Creamer. Those products were inspired by Honeydukes, the famed sweets shop from Hogsmeade featured in the films.

Amanda Zaydman, Director of Brand Marketing at Nestlé, which owns Coffee Mate, previously commented on the partnership, saying, "We've added a dash of wonder to everyday coffee routines with our new creamers... Our brand is all about creating spellbinding moments for coffee lovers, and this partnership delivers exactly that." With the new Butterbeer line, that magic is set to continue, offering British fans a new way to enjoy a truly enchanting cuppa.
