B&M shoppers have spotted the return of a nostalgic Haribo flavour: Rhubarb and Custard Rolls. The German confectionery company has brought back the fan-favourite sweet, which was discontinued years ago, and it is now available in B&M stores across the UK.
Social media user 'New Food Spotter UK' shared the news on X, posting a photo of the pink and yellow bag adorned with the famous Haribo bear. The sweets inside resemble classic rhubarb and custard treats, with pink rolls containing a yellow filling and yellow rolls containing a pink filling. The flavour is described as a bold and tangy rhubarb taste mixed with smooth vanilla creaminess from the custard.
While the post did not include a price, B&M lists the 140g share bag for just £1, making it an affordable option for Easter or everyday snacking. The rhubarb and custard flavour previously made a comeback in other Haribo mixes, such as the Soopa-Hoopla ice cream flavoured mix in 2024 and the Nostalgix range, but fans are hopeful this standalone product will remain on shelves for longer.
Reactions on social media have been positive, with one user commenting, 'Lovely I want some,' and another exclaiming, 'ITS ABOUT TIME !!!!' The return comes after two Haribo shoppers were left baffled by the contents of their £11.95 mystery bag from the sweets shop.
