Dyson hair tools have launched at online beauty retailer Lookfantastic as of April 16, joining brands like Babyliss and Shark. The collection includes the Airstrait, Airwrap, Corrale and Supersonic models, with prices ranging from £279.99 to £449.99.
The Dyson Airwrap Origin multi-styler and dryer, usually £399.99, is currently available for £299.99. It uses Coanda airflow to style hair without extreme heat, competing with the Shark FlexStyle which is on sale at Argos for £149.99. Unlike Shark's model with two curlers, Dyson's Airwrap has a switch on the wand to change curl direction.
Powered by the Dyson Digital Motor V9 spinning at up to 110,000rpm, the Airwrap offers three speeds and three heat settings, weighs 0.61 kg and has a 2m cable. It has a 4.2-star rating on the Dyson website, with users praising its speed and ease of use. One reviewer said it 'changed my life', while another noted they could style wet hair in 10 minutes.
However, some users struggled with the technique. A two-star review mentioned that curls dropped on medium-length thick hair. For budget-conscious shoppers, the BaByliss Keratin Shine Curling Wand at £32 offers an alternative for long-lasting curls.
