The Hollies Farm Shop in Little Budworth, Cheshire, is an award-winning family business that began as a roadside honesty box in 1959, selling potatoes and vegetables. Now run by the third generation, Phil and Ed Cowap, the shop has grown into a popular destination.
A Family Legacy and Celebrity Visitors
The shop, described as "where it all began" on its website, features a butchery, delicatessen, gift bar, and a market with fresh produce. Visitors can buy homemade pies, fresh meats, fine wines, and hand-tied flowers. The business won Taste Cheshire's Local Produce Shop of the Year 2025.
Over the years, the farm shop has welcomed celebrities including Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague and Friends actress Courteney Cox. Its Autumn and Winter displays draw large crowds, and the ECHO reported in September 2024 and 2025 that the shop had to temporarily stop its takeaway and coffee service due to demand.
