Jarrod Bowen Told to Stay at West Ham Amid Everton Transfer Links
Bowen Urged to Stay at West Ham Amid Everton Interest

Former Premier League winger Robert Snodgrass has urged Jarrod Bowen to stay at West Ham United, calling it a 'massive statement of intent' as the club aims for an immediate Premier League return. Snodgrass's comments come amid reports linking the 29-year-old forward with a move to Everton, where he would reunite with former manager David Moyes.

Snodgrass Advises Bowen to Stay Put

Speaking to talkSPORT BET Sportsbook, Snodgrass said: 'Jarrod Bowen to Aston Villa or Everton? I think he did really well last season despite where West Ham finished. He has been the main man and his numbers have been really good for the last three years.'

Snodgrass, who played for West Ham and Aston Villa, added: 'If I'm Jarrod, I'm staying at West Ham. He is the captain and he is loved there. Signing a longer-term deal would show massive loyalty and togetherness. If they keep him and make the right signings, it shows a massive intent to go straight back up.'

Bowen's Role at West Ham

Bowen joined West Ham from Hull City in 2020 and has been a key player, scoring 20 goals in all competitions last season despite the club's relegation to the Championship. He captained the side and won the Europa Conference League under Moyes in 2023. His consistent performances have attracted interest from Everton and Aston Villa, but West Ham are reportedly keen to keep him as they rebuild for promotion.

Everton's Interest

Everton, now managed by Moyes, are looking to strengthen their attack after a mid-table finish in the Premier League. Moyes previously worked with Bowen at West Ham and is said to be a fan of the forward's work rate and goal-scoring ability. However, Snodgrass believes Bowen's loyalty to West Ham should prevail.

'He is the main man at West Ham and the fans adore him. Going to Everton would be a step up in league status, but he would be under pressure to perform immediately. At West Ham, he has time and the backing of the club to lead them back up,' Snodgrass concluded.
