Bodycare Returns to 17 UK Stores After 2025 Collapse

Bodycare, the high street beauty chain that collapsed into administration and closed all 147 stores in 2025, is returning to 17 UK towns and cities. The new stores, expected to open as soon as this month, will adopt a 'Bodycare Studio' format focusing on product demonstrations, featured screens, and live broadcast studios.

Comeback After Administration

The retailer, known for discounted health and beauty products, failed to secure a buyer last year, leading to the closure of its entire estate. However, Bodycare has now confirmed a phased reopening, with 15 of the 17 stores expected to open within a year. The first location to reopen is The Moor Shopping Centre in Sheffield, where a sign on the shopfront reads: 'Sheffield, we’re so back.'

According to a June post on The Moor Sheffield’s Facebook page: 'Bodycare, the value health and beauty retailer, is making its return to the high street – and we’re thrilled that The Moor Sheffield will be the first out of six new stores to open. Shoppers can look forward to a brand-new “Bodycare Studio” format, including in-store demonstration zones, feature screens, live broadcast studios and creator spaces as part of a wider digital-first strategy.'
