Part of the retailer's new bank holiday range, the bag is designed to help families enjoy sunny weather without overspending. It features a spacious insulated main compartment to keep food and drinks cool, along with lightweight construction and carry handles for easy transport.
The bag is available only in blue, with handles striped in green, pink, white and yellow, giving it a vibrant look suitable for all ages. B&M says it is ideal for taking to the beach or park.
The bag bears a strong resemblance to Sainsbury's Home Scandi Wiggle Picnic Cool Bag, which costs £16. While the Sainsbury's version is slightly larger at 33 litres, the B&M bag offers a similar design with multicoloured straps at a £6 saving.
A Sainsbury's spokesperson described their bag as having 'sensational summer looks' with a wipe-clean interior and removable shoulder strap. However, for budget-conscious shoppers, the B&M alternative is available in-store only, while Sainsbury's offers home delivery.
