Sam Fender Etihad Stadium 2027 shows - how to get tickets

Sam Fender has announced two headline shows at Manchester's Etihad Stadium on July 15 and 17, 2027, as part of his 'Proper Massive' stadium tour. The BRIT Award winner will follow in the footsteps of Oasis by playing the City ground next summer, with support on all UK dates from Newquay-based rock band Wunderhorse.

Nine shows across UK and Ireland

The tour will consist of nine shows across the UK and Ireland, plus a festival date in Belgium. It kicks off with two nights at Newcastle's St James' Park on June 3 and 5, 2027, before dates in Cardiff, London, Dublin and Edinburgh. The run concludes with the two Etihad Stadium shows in Manchester.

This will be Fender's first Manchester show since his People Watching tour, which saw him play two nights at the Co-op Live in December 2024 and an outdoor show at Wythenshawe Park in August last year.

The announcement follows news that the Etihad Stadium will host additional concerts alongside Oasis' 11-night residency next June, with other big names expected to be announced for the venue soon. Fender, 32, first broke out with his debut EP Dead Boys in 2018, was shortlisted for the BBC Sound of 2018 list and won the Critics' Choice Award at the 2019 BRIT Awards. He has since won five Brit Awards and the Mercury Prize last year.
