Asda has launched a new Hot Food To Go Meal Deal, offering a main, side, and dip for £4, with options available for breakfast or lunch. The deal includes items from the rotisserie chicken counter, a feature not commonly found in supermarket meal deals.
What’s included in the deal?
The deal features 17 mains, five sides, and eight sauces. Breakfast options include a Sausage Bap (£2) or a Sausage & Bacon Bap (£2.90), while lunch mains range from Chicago Town Cheese Pizza Slices (£1.48) to Hot & Spicy Mini Fillets (£2.50). Sides such as Hash Browns (£2) and Skin On Fries (£2) can be paired with dips like Buffalo Sauce, Garlic & Herb, or Piri Piri (all 50p each).
Rotisserie items available as mains include Chinese Chicken Drumsticks (£3.60) and Piri Thighs (£3.60). However, the Half Chicken (£4.12) and Tasty Chicken (£6.98) are not part of the deal and remain priced individually, so customers should check labels before purchasing.

Unlike traditional supermarket meal deals, the £4 price does not include a drink, which must be purchased separately. The price is average compared to competitors, with most deals ranging from £3.50 to £4.50. Asda’s regular meal deal (main, snack, drink) is £3.74, and the premium option is £5. Tesco’s deal is £3.85 with a Clubcard or £4.25 without, with a premium option at £5.50 with a Clubcard and £6 without. Sainsbury’s standard deal is £3.95, with a premium £5 option. Morrisons offers a deal at £3.50 with a More Card or £4 without, and Boots charges £3.60 for Advantage Card holders or £3.99 for non-members.
