Argos has cut the price of the Lumie Sunrise Alarm Clock to £36.75 using the code HOME25, offering shoppers a gentler way to wake as the mornings grow darker.
The clock gradually brightens over 30 minutes to mimic a natural sunrise, instead of waking users with a sudden, loud alarm. It also includes a 30-minute sunset setting that slowly fades the light to create a calmer atmosphere at bedtime.

The Lumie Sunrise Alarm Clock offers five wake-up sounds, plus an optional beep for those who prefer a more traditional alarm. Users can adjust the volume and use the snooze function for extra rest. Six mood-lighting options are available, including green, red, blue, pink, orange and light blue.
The digital display can be set to high, low or switched off completely, which may suit anyone who prefers to sleep without a bright screen nearby. The clock measures 18cm high, 17cm wide and 9cm deep, and comes with a three-year manufacturer's guarantee.
