The man, known as Carmie on TikTok where he posts as @touchdalight, shared his experience with followers, admitting he was "actually really surprised" by the contents. For his £20, he received a stunning array of high-end treats that would have cost significantly more at full price.
Reaching into the mystery bag, his first find was a mini Christmas picnic roll set, packed with various fillings. Carmie noted that this item alone would have set him back £15 over the counter, meaning he had nearly recouped his entire investment with one product.
The bounty continued with three gourmet sandwiches: prawn cocktail, cheese and pickle, and a festive pigs in blankets option. The foodie rated these highly, suggesting they would have been a "10 out of 10" if not for some leftover bread.
