Paddy McGuinness and his ex-wife Christine have put their Cheshire mansion on the market for £6.5 million, three years after their separation. The couple, who share three children with autism, had continued living together to avoid upsetting their family.
The property, purchased for £2.1 million in 2020, has undergone extensive renovations and now features seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a home gym, and a playroom with a ball pit. It also has planning permission for a rear extension and roof terrace.
Christine reportedly became 'desperate' for a fresh start, leading to the decision to sell. A source told MailOnline: 'Christine is at the end of her tether and can't carry on living with Paddy. She is desperate to sell the house, split the proceeds, and buy a smaller property.'
Despite the split, the couple have maintained a cordial relationship, with Paddy describing their cohabitation as 'easy' and non-toxic. They have prioritised their children's needs, carefully coordinating schedules to minimise disruption.
The sale is expected to yield a profit of around £4.4 million, which will be divided between the former couple.
