Casual Stadium Tour Guide

The club is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging tour guide to deliver informative tours of St James' Park. The role involves providing visitors with a unique experience, sharing stories and facts about the club's history. Applicants should have confidence in public speaking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build rapport with guests. Previous experience in a customer-facing role and flexibility to work weekends are required. A GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English at grade C or above is needed, and a criminal background check will be conducted. The pay is £13.45 per hour.

Buying and Merchandising Administrator

This role is for someone with a retail background looking to advance. Responsibilities include tracking stock levels and coordinating communication between internal departments and suppliers. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and a positive, team-focused approach. GCSEs or equivalent industry experience are required, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel essential. The salary is competitive but not advertised.

Host Families

The club is also looking for host families to care for young players aged 14–21 in its junior leagues. Placements can be short-term (1–2 nights) or full-time (7 nights per week). Hosts must live in Newcastle upon Tyne postcodes NE7, NE6, NE2, NE3, or NE12, close to the club's education partner or Academy. Responsibilities include providing meals, laundry access, Wi-Fi, a safe environment, and a private bedroom with a double bed. Experience working with young people is particularly encouraged.
