Nuno Espirito Santo has insisted that Karren Brady's departure as West Ham United's vice-chair will not distract the team as they battle for Premier League survival. Brady announced her resignation earlier this week after 16 years in the role.
Survival Battle Intensifies
West Ham currently sit just two points and one place above the relegation zone with only five matches remaining. The club drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace on Monday and now face a crucial run of fixtures, starting with a trip to Everton on Saturday.
Speaking ahead of that match, Nuno said: "My focus is solely on preparing the team. Karren's decision does not change that. The board has been supportive throughout, and I have a good relationship with them."
Nuno Praises Brady
The Portuguese manager acknowledged Brady's contributions to the club. "It was a pleasure working with her. She has done a lot for West Ham," he added.
West Ham's remaining fixtures include a home game against title-chasing Arsenal and a potential relegation decider against Leeds United. Nuno stressed the importance of maintaining concentration. "Every match is a final now. We know what we need to do, and we will fight until the end," he said.
