Fans can finally stream the first two seasons of the groundbreaking television series Heroes on Prime Video. Originally airing from 2006 to 2010, the show is often described as 'Lost with superheroes' and predates the Marvel small-screen adaptations that have since become ubiquitous.
Created by Tim Kring, the first season follows seemingly ordinary people around the world who discover they have superpowers. Their lives intertwine as they work together to prevent a catastrophic future. The series is known for its twists and unexpected surprises, and its first season remains the highest-rated of its run on Rotten Tomatoes with 83%.
Although Heroes ran for four seasons, many fans feel the quality dipped after the first. A sequel series, Heroes: Reborn, was attempted in 2015 but was cancelled after one season. Kring described Reborn as the tenth season, set some time after the original.
The show features a packed cast including Hayden Panettiere in her breakout role as Claire, alongside Ali Larter and Milo Ventimiglia. Fans continue to praise the first season online, calling it 'one of the greatest seasons of TV ever created' and a must-see for superhero enthusiasts.
Prime Video offers a 30-day free trial for new subscribers, allowing viewers to enjoy not only Heroes but also other popular series such as The Boys, Reacher, and Clarkson's Farm.
