TSB has been emailing eligible customers to let them know they can earn £30 cashback into their account with just three taps of their debit card. The bank said there is no minimum spend requirement and customers simply need to act by October 31, 2026.
Those holding a Visa debit card need to make three purchases to receive the money into their accounts. It can be for anything, the bank confirmed.
How the offer works
TSB explained: "It's never been easier to earn £30 cashback with TSB. Simply use your Visa debit card to make three purchases from today until October 31."
"Best of all, there's no minimum spend. Whether you're buying a pack of gum, a pumpkin spice latte, or a bag of peas, you'll qualify."
"That's all there is to it. Once you've made your three separate purchases, even if they're on the same day, we'll arrange to have £30 cashback paid into your account next month."
Eligibility and qualifying payments
TSB outlined in the email: "To be eligible for the cashback, you must be the named recipient of this email. You must hold a TSB current account (excluding business accounts), which must remain open when the cashback is paid. We'll have sole discretion on whether eligibility requirements have been met."
"If your account is joint, a total of three Qualifying Debit Card Payments must be made across the account. You do not each need to make three Qualifying Debit Card payments. Cashback can only be earned once per joint account."
The bank confirmed the offer runs from today until 11.59pm on October 31, 2026. TSB clarified that "Qualifying Debit Card Payments" referred to online, mail order and in-store purchases, including contactless, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay transactions, completed within the offer period.
Excluded transactions and payment date
Excluded transactions include ATM or other cash withdrawals using your card, Direct Debits, Standing Orders, payments to casinos, betting outlets or bookmakers, payments for trading or spread betting, bill payments made in a TSB branch and future-dated payments.
The bank said that a Qualifying Debit Card Payment would be registered as completed on the date the funds leave the account. This typically occurs within five working days of making the debit card transaction, though it can occasionally take longer.
Customers can verify when money has been deducted from their account by checking their transactions online or reviewing their statement, TSB added. Those who successfully complete the three payments throughout the offer period will receive the £30 credited directly into their accounts by November 20, 2026.
Additionally, the bank noted that the TSB current account referenced in the correspondence must remain open at the point the cashback is due to be paid. The bank added: "We won't pay cashback if the account is closed before the cashback is paid, even if you met Qualifying Debit Card Payments during the offer period."
