Tesco Clubcard shoppers can get a 30% bonus on Virgin Points for manual voucher exchanges made before Wednesday, September 23. The limited-time offer applies to each qualifying exchange during the period, giving members extra value from their everyday spending.
How the bonus works
Every Tesco Clubcard point is worth two Virgin Points, so shoppers can essentially double their points value. For example, turning £4 worth of Clubcard vouchers (400 points) into Virgin Points normally gives 800 points, but with the 30% bonus, this increases to 1,040 Virgin Points.
The deal allows shoppers to convert points earned through everyday spending into days out, experiences, flights, cruises, and hotel stays. The more vouchers exchanged, the greater the rewards, with last-minute flights, shows, and day trips available.
What Virgin says
Virgin explained: “Never exchanged your Clubcard vouchers before and want to know how it works? You’re in for a treat. Firstly, when you exchange your £1.50 Tesco Clubcard voucher (minimum voucher value needed for manual exchange), this becomes 300 Virgin Points. Secondly, right now, we’re giving you 30% bonus points on top when you manually exchange your Clubcard vouchers to Virgin Points. So your £10 Tesco Clubcard vouchers, instead of 2,000 Virgin Points, becomes 2,600 Virgin Points. That’s enough to see a summer blockbuster at your local Picturehouse. Too much maths? Trust us: the result is a whole lot of points.”
How to take part
Tesco Clubcard members can join Virgin Red for free and start collecting Virgin Points immediately. To use the offer, members log into their Tesco Clubcard account, select the voucher value to exchange, and enter their Virgin Red ID. Virgin Points are added within 24 hours, with any remaining voucher value returned to the Clubcard account.
Manual exchanges require at least £1.50 in Clubcard vouchers (150 Clubcard points), and the 30% bonus applies only to exchanges made by 23.59pm on September 23, 2026.
