Brits are being urged to check their bathroom cupboards after a popular skincare product was recalled over concerns it could cause eye inflammation. Simple 730ml Kind to Skin Micellar Cleansing Water has been pulled from sale after it emerged that some bottles may be affected by microbiological contamination. The product is commonly used to remove make-up and cleanse the face.
Affected Batches and Retailers
The warning applies to specific batches of the cleansing water which were sold at B&M, Home Bargains and Savers. Shoppers should check bottles for the barcode 8720181894381. The two batch numbers affected by the recall are 613841 and 613941.
People who discover they have one of the affected bottles at home have been told to stop using it immediately. The safety concern is linked to possible microbiological contamination, which could lead to inflammation of the eye. No other batches are identified as affected in the recall information provided.
