Popeyes has partnered with the popular YouTube series Hot Ones to launch a limited-edition menu in the UK, bringing a selection of spicy chicken options to its restaurants. The collaboration, announced in a press release, includes four items inspired by the show where celebrities eat increasingly hot wings while answering questions.
The menu kicks off with the mild Sizzlin' Sriracha Dippers, featuring pickled garlic sriracha-marinated chicken tenders served with buttermilk ranch dip and a sriracha sachet. Next is the Smokin' Rojo Sandwich, a medium-spice option with a crispy chicken fillet topped with Los Calientes Rojo spread and pickles on a brioche bun.
For those seeking more heat, the Darin' Dab Ghost Wings offer a hot level of spice, available boneless or bone-in, dusted with ghost pepper dry rub and served with a Last Dab Ranch dip. The spiciest addition is The Last Dab sauce, the hottest in the Hot Ones universe, sold as a sachet to add to any item.
The limited-time menu is available now in UK Popeyes restaurants. Popeyes Rewards members can earn double bonus points on all Hot Ones items from 22 to 28 September when ordering online or via the app. The chain will also feature in an upcoming Hot Ones reunion episode with celebrities like Keke Palmer sampling the new dishes.
Bart LaCount, Popeyes Chief Marketing Officer, said: 'Partnering with Hot Ones was a natural fit. They're a cultural phenomenon known for pushing boundaries, and at Popeyes, we've built our brand on doing the same with bold flavour experiences.' Hot Ones host Sean Evans added: 'When you think of bold flavours and serious heat, Popeyes is right up there with Hot Ones.'
