Papa John's Festive Yorkshire Pudding: A Bold Christmas Side Dish Review
Papa John's Festive Yorkshire Pudding: A Bold Christmas Side Dish Review

Papa John's has launched a limited-edition festive menu, featuring a stuffed Yorkshire pudding side dish called the 'Yuletide Yorkie'. The dish is layered with melted cheese, topped with orange-and-thyme turkey, sausage, bacon, crumbled potato tots, and drizzled with gravy.

A reviewer from The Mirror found the first bite surprisingly good, noting that the potato tots paired well with the pizza-style Yorkshire pudding. However, the combination of three meats felt overwhelming, and the heavy cheese content was a bit much for those who prefer milder flavours.

Despite the richness, the reviewer managed to eat three out of four slices, concluding that the flavours worked together overall. The dish is recommended as a festive side for cheese lovers, but those who prefer less cheese might ask for a lighter version.

The reviewer also tried a side of pigs in blankets with a gravy mayo dip, which they enjoyed plain, though the dip wasn't to their taste. The festive sides are available until January 4th, 2026.

Rebecca Carroll, marketing director at Papa John's, said: 'The Yuletide Yorkie is a bold example of our commitment to innovation, bringing together two national favourites for a festive feast like no other.'
