One idea is to use MSE's free printable 'Mother's Day gift cheques', which allow you to create vouchers for your mum. Pledges could include doing the washing up for a week, cooking dinner, or taking her out for the day. When she presents the cheque, you fulfil the promise.
For budget-friendly flowers, supermarkets such as Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Co-op, and Morrisons are selling bunches of daffodils for £1. Aldi offers a Pocket Money Posy for £1.99, and Lidl has a Pocket Money Pink Posy for £1.89. Many other floral options, including roses, tulips, and carnations, are available for £10 or less across these stores.
M&S provides bouquets with free delivery from £25. Meanwhile, Lego is giving away a free pink rose at 19 UK stores. The event is for children aged 10 and above, and the rose can be collected on Saturday, March 14 between 10am and midday, or on Sunday, March 15 between midday and 2pm.
