Marks and Spencer shoppers are racing to their local stores to snap up a new sweet treat, ideal for the warmer summer months, that has been branded “genius”. The retail giant recently announced the arrival of its new Choc Cone Ends, priced at £3 for a 120g bag.
Taking to Instagram with an image of the snack, M&S wrote: “Introducing your new obsession: Choc Cone Ends. Mini waffle cones packed with smooth Belgian milk chocolate aka the best bit of the cone, times ten.” The post added: “Perfect for sharing (or not) or levelling up your dessert game… trust us, these won’t stay on shelves for long. Run, don’t walk to your local M&S Foodhall!”
In the comments section, fellow Instagram users were keen to share their thoughts. One person said: “Who is your food designer? They are an absolute genius!” Another lamented: “I have been looking for these daily for weeks now!!!!” To which M&S replied: “We’re so sorry you haven’t managed to get your hands on these yet. They’ve been flying out, we knew they were going to be a huge hit!”
The mini waffle cones are filled with Belgian milk chocolate and can be added to ice cream and other desserts, or simply snacked on straight from the bag. They are suitable for vegetarians.
