A woman who tried Marks & Spencer's new custard cream milkshake has called it the best flavour the supermarket has ever had. Cissy Jones shared her experience on Instagram, praising the drink as 'unreal' and comparing it to a milky custard cream.
The milkshake is the latest addition to M&S Cafe's summer menu, joining existing flavours such as banana, strawberry, chocolate, Belgian chocolate, white chocolate, and vanilla and white chocolate. The supermarket described the new menu as its 'biggest ever drinks menu' this summer, featuring on-trend flavours.
In her Instagram post, Cissy expressed her love for new M&S launches and wondered if the milkshake would come with a custard cream on top. Her wish came true as the cafe worker blended the ingredients and presented the drink with a large custard cream.
Social media users reacted enthusiastically to the news. One commented 'I NEED this! Didn't know they did things like this!' while another wrote 'That looks like it would fix all my problems.' A third user said they had been waiting all their life for custard creams to get some love.
M&S has also added new items to its Matcha range, stating that its cafes are already known for matcha and are set to become more iconic this summer.
