Katie Price's ex Lee Andrews launches £95k crowdfunder to 'clear his name'
Katie Price's ex Lee Andrews launches £95k crowdfunder

Lee Andrews, Katie Price's estranged husband, has shared a crowdfunder seeking £95,000 to post a court bond and return to the UK after his release from Dubai's Al-Awir prison. The fundraiser, titled 'Bring Lee Andrews home', is hosted on Go Get Funding and lists Andrews as the organiser. At the time of publication, it had received no donations.

Fundraiser claims false accusations

The campaign description states the £95,000 is required to post a 'bond to the court and travel freely back home'. It also claims the amount is only part of a £250,000 sum needed to 'lift all travel ban cases against him'.

The fundraiser alleges Andrews has been 'falsely accused', 'detained illegally' and had his 'assets seized and bank accounts frozen'. It reads: 'He now needs to return home to England where can live his life peacefully rebuild and full [sic] have access to his funds and clear his name.'

Social media activity after release

Andrews, who has been out of prison for a matter of days, has already promoted his Cameo and OnlyFans accounts on social media. He joked about his lack of money on Instagram Stories this week, while appearing to reference an accusation from his ex Alana Percival, who said he had faked his own death after his release.

While eating sweets, which he said he had forgotten the taste of while behind bars, Andrews said: 'People actually thought… People? Horrible people put that I claimed that I killed myself, or died or something. I don't know what that was all about.'

'Trust me, I couldn't afford the rope at the moment,' he said before adding: 'No, that's not true. But people thought I was going to be in jail for 50 years. So I proved those f***ers wrong.'

Promise to whistleblow

He then added: 'And, I shouldn't announce early but they also said I can't get to the UK. Let me just prove with successes.' Since leaving prison, Andrews has promised to 'whistleblow' about this 'terrible ordeal' once he has left the country, in a post shared to his Instagram.
