Fundraiser Launched for Family of Mum Killed in Fife Crash
Fundraiser for Family of Mum Killed in Fife Crash

A fundraiser has been set up to support the family of a 24-year-old mother-of-two who died in a three-car crash on the A92 in Fife. Aisha Kempson was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision near Luthrie Junction at around 1am on Sunday, October 4.

Emergency services attended the incident involving a white Audi A3, a grey Volvo V40, and a white Honda HRV. The male driver of the Audi was taken to hospital, while Aisha, a passenger, was declared dead at the scene. A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the crash.

Fundraiser launched for funeral costs

Aisha's friend, Dana Paterson, created a GoFundMe page to help the family with unexpected funeral costs and to support Aisha's two children. The campaign has raised over £1,400, with donations coming in daily.

In a tribute accompanying the fundraiser, Dana wrote: "Anyone who knew Aisha knew just how big her heart was."

"She was loving, caring and the type of person who left a mark on your life. But nothing compared to the love she had for her children. They meant absolutely everything to her."

"It breaks my heart knowing that her two babies now have to grow up without their mummy physically by their side. No mum should ever have to experience the unimaginable pain of arranging her daughter’s funeral, and no children should have to lose their mummy so young."

"Nothing we raise could ever replace [Aisha] but hopefully we can come together and give [her family] one less thing to worry about while they try to navigate a pain that is impossible to put into words."

Family tributes and ongoing enquiries

Aisha's sister, Gray Allan, wrote: "I'll miss you forever. Rest in paradise my angel. You were the best big sister to me. I'll never forget you."

Aisha's stepmum, Becky Lee Young, added: "Aw sweetheart. We're not ready for this. It's not real. You weren’t just my stepdaughter, you were my beautiful stepdaughter who gave us two gorgeous grandchildren who will keep you with us. I hope you are looking down and can see how much you were loved. I'm not ready to say goodbye yet."

As of Tuesday, October 6, no charges had been made in connection with the crash, with police confirming enquiries were ongoing. The road was closed for nearly 24 hours for crash investigation work before reopening around 12am on Monday, October 5.

Sergeant William Low said: "Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the woman who has died at this difficult time. We are carrying out extensive enquiries and we are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to come forward."

"In addition, anyone with relevant dash-cam footage which may assist is asked to contact police."

Anyone with information can contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 0216 of October 4, 2026. Donations to the fundraiser can be made via the GoFundMe page.
