How the Service Works
SNAP recipients can link their EBT cards to their DoorDash accounts. When placing an order, benefits are automatically applied to eligible grocery items. However, any non-eligible purchases or remaining balances must be covered using alternative payment methods. Standard fees, including service charges, taxes, and optional tips, are not covered by SNAP benefits, requiring customers to pay for these separately. To encourage adoption, DoorDash is offering $0 delivery fees on the first EBT order for a limited time.
