Good Housekeeping has named the best Easter eggs for 2026, with a £10 supermarket egg from Sainsbury's scoring the highest overall, outperforming premium brands like Hotel Chocolat and Lindt.
The Sainsbury's Taste the Difference Extra Large the Mint One Belgian Dark Chocolate 230g achieved an impressive 89 out of 100. Good Housekeeping praised its mint-choc-chip aroma, polished presentation, and the satisfying crunch from its pieces.
In the milk chocolate category, the Lindt Gold Bunny Milk Chocolate Easter Egg 250g took top honours, while the white chocolate winner was Cocoa Loco Lemon Drizzle Egg 225g. Waitrose's No. 1 Almond Croissant 275g was named best blonde Easter egg.
Other category winners included Exceptional by ASDA Free From Raspberry & Dark Belgian Chocolate Easter Egg 200g (£9.97) for free from, and Waitrose Choc Full Easter Egg 215g (£8.50) for children's eggs. The experts also highlighted several budget-friendly options.
