Aldi has been confirmed as the UK's cheapest supermarket for July 2026 by consumer champion Which?, and is marking the occasion by giving shoppers the chance to win a share of £1,000 in shopping vouchers. Ten lucky winners will each receive £100 in Aldi vouchers, which can be spent across the retailer's full range.
Which? Analysis Confirms Aldi's Top Spot
The latest independent analysis from Which? was based on a basket of 93 popular grocery items. Aldi's basket cost just £158.05, saving shoppers up to £30.40 compared to Tesco, £29.81 compared to Sainsbury's (even with loyalty discounts applied), and £68.90 compared to Waitrose.
This win extends Aldi's 100% winning streak in 2026, marking a nine-month run that dates back to November 2025. The achievement builds on Aldi being named Which?'s Cheapest Supermarket of the Year for 2025, as well as its recent win as 'Best Value Brand of the Year'.
Vouchers Cover Full Range
The £100 vouchers can be redeemed across Aldi's entire range, including fresh fruit and vegetables, summer BBQ essentials, cupboard staples, household necessities, and health and beauty products.
