Barclays customers have been urged to act quickly to secure a bonus of up to £900 by switching to the bank. The offer includes a one-off payment of £200 for switching to a Barclays Bank Account, or £400 for a Premier Current Account. Additionally, customers can receive up to £500 by transferring their ISA savings to Barclays.
The deadline to apply for a full current account switch is November 27, while ISA transfers must be requested by November 28. However, personal finance expert Aaron Peake of CredAbility warned that the deadlines could change if the offer proves popular, as Barclays reserves the right to withdraw or amend the promotion.
Peake advised customers not to wait until the last minute, noting that similar offers have closed early due to high demand. He suggested using the bonus wisely, such as building an emergency savings fund, paying off debt, or covering winter heating costs and Christmas expenses.
