M&S to Debut Shoppable Collection at London Fashion Week for 100th Anniversary
M&S to Debut Shoppable Collection at London Fashion Week

Marks & Spencer (M&S) will make its debut at London Fashion Week this September, presenting a 'see now, buy now' collection of womenswear and menswear. This move signals the high street retailer's ongoing style revival and marks its 100th year in the fashion industry.

Shoppable Runway Collection

The collection will be available for purchase immediately after the show, both online and in flagship M&S stores across the UK. This 'see now, buy now' model allows customers to buy the runway looks without waiting for traditional seasonal drops.

M&S chief executive Stuart Machin said: 'This is a special moment; for 100 years M&S fashion has been part of everyday life and now we will showcase our designs on fashion's global stage. At M&S we focus on designing clothes with style, quality and value, and making fashion accessible to all. That's why we will stream our show, bringing one of the world's leading fashion weeks and the magic of M&S to everybody.'

Recent Fashion Initiatives

The London Fashion Week debut follows a fashion show held at the Silverstone British Grand Prix pit lane over the weekend, where the retailer turned the area into a catwalk. These initiatives are part of M&S's broader strategy to revitalise its fashion, home and beauty business.

Strategic Investments

M&S has been investing heavily in its clothing arm to double online sales. This has included a revival of its clothing division, which has improved customer perceptions of the brand's style and quality, and increased its share of the womenswear market. Additionally, the company is taking over a warehouse from Asos, which is set to become one of its largest distribution centres when it opens in 2027.
