Lady Marina Windsor Pays Emotional Tribute to Late Duchess of Kent

Lady Marina Windsor has shared unseen photographs of her grandmother, the late Duchess of Kent, following her death on Thursday at Kensington Palace. The 32-year-old posted a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, calling the duchess 'my amazing and beloved Amama'.

Among the images was a candid shot of the duchess on the doorstep of Wren House, her Kensington Palace home, smiling in a white blouse and denim jeans. The photograph is believed to have been taken by Marina herself, though the date is unknown.

Another picture showed the duchess in her wedding gown, while a further image captured her arm in arm with her husband, Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent. Marina, daughter of George Windsor, Earl of St Andrews, and Sylvana Tomaselli, thanked well-wishers for their 'kind and touching messages'.

The Duchess of Kent's funeral will be held at Westminster Cathedral on September 16 at 2pm. Her coffin will rest in the private chapel at Kensington Palace beforehand.
