Major Prize Winner
Neil McGregor, 72, won a life-changing £250,000 in the monthly draw on Saturday, August 1. His postcode PH10 6XA in Blairgowrie, Perthshire, was selected for the top prize. Neil was encouraged to enter by his son Scott, who had missed out on a £10.2m win on his own street two years earlier.
Scott, 56, had planned to sign up but never did. He urged his parents to enter with their address 20 miles away. Neil and his wife Irene, 77, are now planning a holiday, treats for the family, and a first car for their granddaughter. Neil also plans a trip to Graceland in Memphis.
How the Lottery Works
The Postcode Lottery, formerly People's Postcode Lottery, costs £12.50 a month to play. Players enter with their chosen postcode and are automatically entered into all draws. There are guaranteed winners every day.
