The National Lottery Lotto draw tonight, Saturday, August 22, offers one player the chance to win a life-changing £2M jackpot. The prize was reset after more than £4M was handed out in Wednesday's draw on August 19.
How to Win Tonight's Jackpot
To win the full jackpot, a player must match all six main numbers drawn. However, smaller cash prizes are available for matching some numbers. Matching five main numbers plus the bonus ball wins £1,000,000, while matching five main numbers secures £1,750.
New Two-Round Format
Since a major change in June, each Lotto draw now consists of two separate rounds, with all players automatically entered into both draws with one ticket. Players buy their £2 ticket in the same way as before. In the first round, a set of 59 balls is entered into the draw machine, with six balls plus the Bonus Ball drawn. Matching two or more numbers from your Lotto line wins cash. A second set of 59 balls is then entered into a second draw machine, with six balls plus the Bonus Ball drawn, and the same rule applies.
