A UK ticket-holder has won a record-breaking £195 million jackpot in the EuroMillions lottery, Camelot has confirmed. The winning numbers drawn on Tuesday were 6, 23, 27, 40, 41, with Lucky Star numbers 2 and 12.
This is the largest National Lottery win in UK history, surpassing the previous record of £184 million won by Joe and Jess Thwaite from Gloucester in May 2022. The prize also makes the winner wealthier than Sir Tom Jones, who is worth £180 million according to the 2022 Sunday Times Rich List.
Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at Camelot, described it as 'an amazing night for one UK ticket-holder'. He urged players to check their tickets and contact Camelot if they believe they are the record-breaking winner.
The EuroMillions draw takes place twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, and is played across nine European countries. To date, 15 UK tickets have won jackpots exceeding £100 million in National Lottery history.
