For Greater Manchester, the warm weather is set to continue over the weekend. Met Office weather maps indicate highs of around 29C on Saturday, July 11, in Manchester, peaking at around 4pm. The Met Office's forecast for the north west on Saturday states: "Another dry and sunny day for much of the region, although some cloud and a few spots of rain may move into Cumbria during the afternoon. Feeling very warm. Maximum temperature 30C."

Sunday Slightly Cooler at 28C

Temperatures are expected to drop slightly on Sunday, July 12, with the Met Office forecasting highs of around 28C across Manchester. The forecast adds: "Any low cloud lifting and breaking to give another warm and sunny day. A brisk breeze picking up into the afternoon. Maximum temperature 28C."

Evening and Night Conditions

Saturday evening may see a few spots of rain in Cumbria, but otherwise a dry night is expected across the region, with some patches of low cloud forming and temperatures staying warm, with a minimum of 16C.
