Weather maps indicate that a milder spell is set to reach the UK later this month, with temperatures potentially climbing to 16C in some areas. The WXCharts maps have turned yellow for November 16, signalling a notable rise in temperatures across parts of the country, with 21 areas expected to see a sudden change in conditions.

The shift comes as the UK is expected to face freezing conditions in the coming weeks, with mercury levels beginning to rise during the afternoon of November 16, leaving most parts of England in double digits.
Areas in the Midlands will see temperatures oscillating between 11C and 13C, while Scotland is expected to continue witnessing cold conditions, according to the maps.
