A stretch of King Street in Wigan town centre is closed off this morning (Monday, August 24) amid reports of a building fire. The road is shut from Rodney Street to College Avenue.
Bus services diverted
According to an update on the Bee Network website, a number of bus services are being diverted due to the incident. These include the 132, 607 and 609.

The incident was reported to have started at around 4am this morning. The Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) has been contacted for further details.
