Red Bull will replace the injured Isack Hadjar with Liam Lawson at the Dutch GP, nearly 18 months after Lawson was dropped from the team.
Hadjar's injury opens door for Lawson
Hadjar, 21, picked up a wrist injury over the summer break and will miss this weekend's race at Circuit Zandvoort, according to Dutch media. If the Frenchman cannot race, Lawson could be brought in from Racing Bulls.
Lawson was demoted in March 2025 after just two races, a decision he said left him in "shock". Hadjar's injury now gives him a chance to impress with the senior team in the Netherlands.
