The Pentagon has released its newest batch of UFO files, including what officials describe as the clearest images yet of an unidentified flying object. The release includes 40 files: 14 documents, 19 videos, three images, and four audio recordings, sourced from the Energy Department, Pentagon, CIA, FBI, and NASA.
Footage Described as 'Unlike Anything' by 28-Year Veteran
One particular video captured widespread attention: a circular, two-tiered object spotted in September 2015 near a nuclear weapons facility in Texas. An unnamed military aviator with 28 years of service said it was 'unlike anything I had seen.' The sighting prompted a facility lockdown as two officers pursued the object.
According to the report, 'Although they were unable to catch up to the object, they stopped their vehicle and got out. Once outside, they noted that the object did not make any sound. Furthermore, the [officers] stated that they were unable to identify any type of propulsion system on the object while using binoculars to assess the object. After viewing it for 1–2 minutes, the object then continued north offsite.'
Trump's Executive Order and Public Release
Former President Donald Trump ordered the release via executive order, establishing a dedicated website. He wrote on Truth Social: 'With these new Documents and Videos, the people can decide for themselves, "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?" Have Fun and Enjoy!'
The files are labelled as 'UAP' (unidentified aerial phenomena) encounters, rather than UFOs. So far, 162 previously unseen files have been made public, drawing massive attention to the government site.
