Alex Albon will be replaced by Luke Browning for the first practice session at next weekend's Italian Grand Prix. Williams has called up Browning to drive Albon's car in FP1 at Monza, marking his second FP1 outing of the campaign after previously taking part at the Austrian Grand Prix.

The news comes as the dust settles on last weekend's Dutch Grand Prix, which marked F1's return after the month-long summer shutdown. Lando Norris claimed an impressive victory ahead of Kimi Antonelli and George Russell, picking up where he left off in Hungary.
Lewis Hamilton finished fourth but was left frustrated during the race after being stuck behind Charles Leclerc for a number of laps. The seven-time champion vented his fury over the radio but later apologised for his comments made in the heat of the moment.
Verstappen's home race ends in crash
Max Verstappen failed to complete a single lap at Zandvoort, crashing into the barriers as he navigated the final banked corner. It was an unfortunate way to end his last home race, given that the Dutch Grand Prix will not be on the calendar from 2027 onwards.
McLaren have appealed an FIA decision following the events of the Dutch Grand Prix, with the appeal adding to the build-up ahead of Monza.
