Disney+ has raised its UK subscription prices for the second year in a row, with some customers facing annual increases of up to £24.
Monthly and annual price changes
The standard plan with adverts rises from £5.99 to £6.99 a month, adding £12 to a yearly cost. The ad-free standard plan increases from £9.99 to £11.99 a month, an extra £24 over a year. The premium tier, which supports more simultaneous streams and higher picture quality, goes up from £14.99 to £15.99 a month, a £12 annual rise.
Annual plans also change: the standard package rises by £20 from £99.90 to £119.90, while premium increases by £10 from £149.90 to £159.90. Monthly subscribers will see the new prices from their next billing date on or after November 18, and annual subscribers from their next billing date on or after December 2.
New six-month package
Disney+ has also introduced a six-month package, priced lower than the regular monthly subscriptions. The six-month standard with adverts costs £5.99 a month, the standard plan £9.99 a month, and the premium tier £11.99 a month. Disney+ last raised UK prices in December 2025.
How subscribers can save money
Monthly subscribers unhappy with the rise can cancel without an exit fee. Downgrading from standard to standard with adverts would save £60. Paying annually instead of monthly also cuts costs: a standard plan paid monthly totals £143.88 a year, versus £119.90 upfront — a saving of £23.98.
For those considering a new subscription, Lloyds Bank offers the standard with adverts plan free for 12 months to Club Lloyds account holders, and O2 provides a £2 monthly bill credit when a paid Disney+ subscription is added to an eligible O2 plan.
