O2 is offering the iPhone 18 Pro for £49.44 per month with unlimited data in an online exclusive deal, undercutting Sky Mobile's claimed 'lowest price' of £52 per month. The offer expires on October 14.
Sky Mobile recently claimed it offers Apple's latest iPhone 18 Pro at the 'lowest price' on the market. However, a closer look shows that Sky's claim is based on its handset plan paired with a 75GB data tariff, priced at £52 per month with £12 upfront. Sky compared this to other major networks, including EE, O2, Vodafone and Three Mobile. While Sky's iPhone 18 Pro and 75GB deal is indeed the cheapest around, it is also the only one around, as most providers do not offer a 75GB tariff.
O2's Online Exclusive Offer
After searching the web for alternatives, a better deal has been spotted at O2, where an 'online exclusive deal' has dropped the iPhone 18 Pro to £49.44 per month. This price includes a larger unlimited data allowance, but it will expire on October 14. Shoppers taking advantage of this deal before the deadline will save £2.56 each month compared to Sky, which works out at £92.16 less over the 36-month contract. O2 charges £30 upfront, whereas Sky only charges £12, a difference of £18 that still works out very slightly cheaper over the life of the plan.
Elsewhere, Tesco Mobile goes even lower at £48.49 per month with no upfront cost, but this plan only has a 3GB allowance that will not be enough for many users.
Comparing Standard Prices
Sky's 'lowest price' claim is certainly competitive when compared to the standard, non-deal price of its main rivals. This includes O2 (£58.27 with unlimited), EE (£64.32 with 25GB) and Vodafone (£64.88 with 30GB). However, O2's iPhone 18 Pro deal delivers a saving of more than £90 that trumps Sky's 'lowest price' claim.
The downside is that this price will not hang around and, like most networks, billpayers will be hit with two price rises during the contract term. O2 has already confirmed that its £49.44 plan will increase to £51.94 from April 2027 and £54.44 from April 2028.
iPhone 18 Pro Features
The iPhone 18 Pro is the most powerful and sophisticated model ever, designed with a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR display, 48MP Pro Fusion triple-lens camera and a rapid A20 Pro chip. This processor is the brain of the phone and allows it to handle several demanding tasks simultaneously. It also boasts a vapour chamber inside to prevent it from overheating.
Apple says the phone's upgraded battery will last for up to 23 hours with 'typical use' but can deliver up to 34 hours of video playback. There's also a host of innovative AI features from Siri and Apple Intelligence.
