Samsung fans have until 11.59pm on Wednesday, October 14, to claim a free Galaxy Watch9 worth £379 when buying a new Galaxy Tab S12+ or Tab S12 Ultra from Sky Mobile.
Earlier this month, Samsung launched its Galaxy Tab S12 series, formed of the Tab S12+ and Tab S12 Ultra. They are said to deliver 'peak performance in an ultra-thin design' and boast a large high-resolution display, long battery life and a host of AI features.
Deal details and caveats
Prices usually start at £1,199 and £1,399 respectively when buying direct from Samsung, or shoppers can split the cost at Sky Mobile and snap up a freebie. This retailer is offering the Tab S12+ or Tab S12 Ultra from £32 and £36.50 respectively on its 48-month tablet plans, both of which come with a free Galaxy Watch9 worth £379.
It is worth noting the Watch9 will not appear in the Sky basket and will be dispatched within 30 days of receiving the tablet. There are also a couple of caveats to be aware of, including a £12 upfront cost with both tablets.
Also, these deals only come with a small 100MB data allowance for using the device without WiFi, so heavier users should consider opting for a larger bundle at additional cost. These include 5GB for £6 (was £13) and 75GB for £14 (was £25).
Other Samsung tablet deals
Elsewhere, shoppers preferring a more affordable Android tablet can find discounts on Samsung's slightly older models. At EE, the compact Galaxy Tab S10 Lite has been reduced from £329 to £249, a discount of £80. Similarly, Sky Mobile has knocked £108 off its monthly S10 Lite plan, reducing it from £10.25 to £8.25.
As for the Galaxy Tab S12 series, Samsung says these next-gen devices deliver its 'most capable and versatile tablet experience' ever. The Tab S12 Ultra is Samsung's thinnest tablet at just 5.1mm, but still packs a punch with a Dynamic AMOLED 2K display and long battery life of up to 23 hours of video playback. It is also protected from the elements thanks to an IP68 water and dust resistance rating.
Features and performance
Inside, there's a 'cutting-edge' processor for more powerful performance and a vapour chamber to prevent overheating while running the most demanding apps. Both the Tab S12+ and Tab S12 Ultra are ideal for creativity and productivity, running Android 17 with One UI 9 and the latest Galaxy AI out of the box.
These offer research, note-taking, creation and AI tools in one device, with users also able to split the tablet screen into three sections with the efficient Multi Window function. Samsung throws in an S Pen stylus too, something Apple charges an extra £129 for.
Unveiling the Galaxy Tab S12 series, Jay Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of Customer Experience Office, Mobile eXperience (MX) Business at Samsung Electronics, said: “The Galaxy Tab S12 series is designed for people who are constantly exploring new ideas, developing new skills and bringing their ambitions to life. Built with industry-leading hardware, the Galaxy Tab S12 series pairs an expansive screen with the power of Galaxy AI, removing friction from complex tasks so users can stay focused on achieving impactful results.”
