Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 LTE deal from Sky at 19p per day
Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 LTE Sky deal: 19p per day

Sky is offering the Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 LTE for as little as £5.75 per month, working out at around 19p per day, on a 48-month contract. The deal includes a discounted data plan, with 5GB of data available for £6, down from £13.

The 8.7-inch tablet is designed for everyday tasks such as browsing the web, watching videos, reading, and staying in touch via social media and email. Its lightweight build makes it easy to carry, while the 90Hz display provides smoother scrolling, and dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support deliver an immersive audio experience.

Storage and connectivity options

The Galaxy Tab A11 LTE comes with either 64GB or 128GB of storage, expandable by up to 2TB via a microSD card. It features an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front-facing camera for video calls, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for wired listening. The LTE version supports 4G mobile data, allowing use away from Wi-Fi with a suitable SIM and plan.

The tablet is available in Grey or Silver, runs Android, and will receive software and security support until September 2032. Described as having a 'streamlined silhouette and clean finish' with a 'bright, clear display' that works even in direct sunlight, it is positioned as a more affordable alternative to Apple's iPad or Amazon's Fire HD Tablets.

Alternative tablet options

For those preferring a shorter commitment, the tablet can also be purchased for £8 per month over 36 months. Sky customers who want an Apple device can get the 2025 iPad for £12.75 per month on a 48-month contract, with data plans costing extra. The iPad mini 2024 with 128GB costs £599 from Argos, featuring an 8.3-inch screen, a 'gorgeous Liquid Retina' display, and the A17 Pro chip.

On the more affordable end, the Lenovo Tab One 8.7" Tablet costs £119 from Currys, reduced from £169. This 64GB tablet offers up to 16 hours of battery life with an 8.7-inch HD screen.

Customer reviews and value

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 Android Tablet has earned a 4.5-star rating on the Samsung website, where shoppers can save £60 when buying the device outright, now down to £159 from £219. One happy customer called it "Excellent value for money," adding: "I appreciate the 8.7-inch size, it is more portable. LTE connectivity is handy, I use it as a secondary phone. The SD card for expanding the memory and a headphone jack are great additions. Battery life has been good so far."

Another buyer on Amazon said: "This is a great tablet. I have a Samsung TV and phone, it's a very good make. It's easy to set up and I am very pleased with it, nothing negative to report. It's fast charging and holds the charge well." A third reviewer noted: "I bought this as a present for my grandson. It's lightweight and easy to use. Great for kids to play games on with no glitching."

One buyer was less impressed, however, stating: "The camera is horrible. I can hardly see when I speak to someone." Another five-star review explained: "I bought the tablet primarily for reading. I'm absolutely thrilled. The size is perfect, a bit smaller like A5. I can download all sorts of apps. Mega easy setup. Very light."
